Old /antique silver clip-on charm. Indian tribal disc. Rajasthan. Sterling 925.
This is an Old Silver clip-on charm.
The silver disc is an Old Indian silver bead. It is from Rajasthan and was made and worn by the tribal gypsy people of Rajasthan and is between 50 and 150 years old. It was originally part of an ornate headdress. I brought these charms myself in Rajasthan. It is made of extremely pure fine silver (98%). I have made it into a clip-on charm using a fine silver ring and a sterling silver lobster clasp (92.5%).
Please note that these charms are all hand made and there will be very slight differences, but the design, shape and size will be essentially the same as the one shown in the photos.
The disc is 1.4 cm across. The charm is 2.7 cm long ( just over 1") including the clasp.
If you would prefer to have the charm on a silver hoop instead of the lobster clasp, just add a note to your order.
I have designed this charm and made it with my own hands. I have been making my living exclusively from designing and making jewellery for 9 years. I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England, I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusual jewellery.
