Tibetan dorje / vajra pendant. 3 faces with earrings. Copper. Large, Pointed.

This is a copper dorje from Tibet.

It is 3 sided with a face on each of the 3 sides. The faces are wearing earrings. These dorjes are used in Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies to represent transformation.
I bought these dorjes from a Tibetan trader in Bodhgaya in India (The small town in India where the Buddha was enlightened). He was in Bodhgaya for the teachings of the Dalai Lama, and was funding his trip by selling jewellery he had brought with him from Tibet.

I will send the pendant on an adjustable length of sturdy black cotton cord.
The pendant is 8.5 cm long. It is 1.6 cm across at the widest point.

I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England,  I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusal jewellery.

Every item will be send beautifully packaged in a cotton gift bag made especially for me by a women's self help group in India.
