Indian tribal silver earrings. Old/antique. Big. Ball/ disc. Sterling silver 925

This is a striking pair of Old Silver /Antique Silver earrings.

These old silver earrings have an unusual ball and disc shape. They were formerly part of a large headress which was made and worn by the tribal gypsy people of Rajasthan in Northern India.  They are between 50 -and 150 years old, and are made of extremely pure fine silver (98%).
I have matched the 2 pieces, and added sterling silver (92.5%) leverback hooks to convert them into earrings.

The beads are 2.3 cm high. From the top of the hooks, the earrings are  3.75 cm long.

I am the designer of these earrings and I have put them together with my own hands. I have been making my living exclusively from designing and  making jewellery for 9 years. I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England,  I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusual jewellery.

Every item will be sent beautifully packaged in a cotton gift bag made especially for me by a women's self help group in India.
