This is a lovely pair of fine silver earrings in the shape of shells.
The shells themselves have been handmade by the tribal people living between Burma and Thailand. They are extremely pure fine silver (98% purity). They have the same shell design on both sides. The small hoops I have used to hang them from the ear hooks are also fine silver. The leverback hooks are sterling silver (92.5% purity)
The shells are 12mm across, and 10 mm high. The earrings are 3cm long from the top of the hook.
I am the designer of these earrings and I have put them together with my own hands. I have been making my living exclusively from designing and making jewellery for 9 years. I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England, I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusual jewellery.
Every item will be sent beautifully packaged in a cotton gift bag made especially for me by a women's self help group in India.
