Tibetan Om pendant. Tibetan calendar on reverse. Brass. Round. Large.
This is a brass Om pendant from Tibet.
On the front is a hand cut Om. On the reverse is the Tibetan calendar. I bought these pendants from a Tibetan trader in Bodhgaya in India (the small town in India where the Buddha was enlightened). He was in Bodhgaya for the teachings of the Dalai Lama, and was funding his trip by selling jewellery he had brought with him from Tibet.
I will send the pendant on an adjustable length of sturdy black cotton cord.
The pendant is 4.1 cm high, including the hoop at the top. It is 3.5cm across at the widest point.
I travel every year to seek out old and tribal silver from Asia and India along with semi-precious stones. Back at home in Brighton, England, I make these loose pieces up into beautiful and unusal jewellery.
